Our Story
Before launching Bullpen Technology Partners, we spent years helping business owners navigate the sale of their companies through a leading M&A advisory firm. We thought we’d seen it all—until one deal changed everything.
While advising on the sale of a tech advisory firm, we uncovered a major gap: most companies were bleeding money on outdated, inefficient, and unsecured technology. Whether they were founder-led or backed by private equity, the story was the same—overspending, weak security, and missed opportunities to boost enterprise value.
That’s when we knew there was more we could do. We dove deep into the tech space, built a strategy to help businesses get more out of their technology, and backed it up by acquiring a company with a Master Service Provider license from one of the top players in the industry. Bullpen was born to ensure that tech becomes an asset, not a liability—especially when it matters most.

While advising on the sale of a technology advisory firm, we realized just how much untapped value existed in optimizing technology strategies—both for the businesses preparing for acquisition and for private equity firms managing their portfolio companies. Most companies, whether independently owned or held by investment firms, are far from optimized when it comes to technology costs, security, and efficiency. They often overspend, have outdated contracts, or unknowingly leave themselves vulnerable to cyber threats. We saw an opportunity to fix that. So, we got to work. We immersed ourselves in the space, identified the most effective ways to drive real value for businesses, and took it a step further—we acquired our own company that held a Master Service Provider (MSP) license with the top player in the industry.
